The so far CEO of Iberia de Herbalife Nutrition becomes Senior Director of Iberia and Greece of the company
Carlos Barroso is the new Senior Director of Iberia and Greece of Herbalife Nutrition, a multinational dedicated to the nutrition sector and a leader in the direct sale of nutritional supplements. This appointment is part of the changes in the organization of the company and among its responsibilities is the strategic direction of Spain, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus and Lebanon.
With 8 years of professional journey within the company (since October 1, 2011), from which he has been Director General in Spain and since 2018 Director General of Iberia, Carlos Barroso has participated in a stage in which Herbalife Nutrition Spain has become the largest country in the EU and Africa within the multinational. At this time Herbalife Nutrition Spain has tripled its sales volume and substantially increased the results of Portugal and Greece.
Barroso's veterans and experience have made him the ideal candidate to perform this new post. In his previous career he has gone through companies such as Nabisco Royal Brams, Compal, Heinz Iberia and Oriflame in which he held the position of Director General for Spain for 5 years.
Carlos Barroso is also president of the Spanish Direct Sales Companies Association (AVD) for 7 years.
In the personal sphere the new Senior Director is a great passionate sport, especially basketball and the running.
