Fried Arepas - Preparationn
This is another way to make arepas.We prepare the dough in the same way as in the arepas recipe, and when we have shaped it, we make a hole in the center with our finger.
Heat the oil, it should cover up to half thes or less than the height of the arepa.
When the oil begins to bubble, we put the arepa in and leave it until golden brown.
Turn it over and let it brown on the other side toono.
We take them out with a slotted spoon and put them on absorbent paper to remove excess fat-.
Then we open them and fill them to taste, with soft cheese, shredded meat, jamón and cheese etc...
