Herbalife Nutrition has been recently named Official Partner of Sports Nutrition of the International Champions Cup (ICC). Since its first edition in 2009, ICC is one of the most important sporting events in the world.
For four years and since its inception, the competition was named Work Football Challenge, in 2013 to be called with its current name: International Champions Cup (ICC).
In 2019 12 of the best clubs in the world will be participating in Juventus, Manchester United, Arsenal, FC Bayern and Tottenham Hotspur. There will be 18 matches in 16 cities in North America, Europe and Asia from 16 July to 10 August.
The Herbalife Nutrition sports nutrition line, currently used by more than 190 athletes and sports teams from around the world, will be available in the field in all games for players to use it.
The global nutrition company has wanted to wager, once again, for the sport and Healthy life, now as Official Sports Nutrition Partner of a major world-wide sports event. On other occasions Herbalife Nutrition has supported sports, equipment and sportsmen of a wide variety of disciplines, showing its firm commitment to healthy habits as a philosophy of life. Example of this are his commitment to the Herbalife Gran Canaria of basketball or the Atlético de Madrid Femenino, the latter team, which will also participate in the next edition of the ICC between 15 and 18 August at the WakeMed Soccer Park of North Carolina.
In fact, the International Women’s Champions Cup, which will begin on August 15 in Cary, North Carolina, will also benefit from the Herbalife Nutrition products and will feature, in addition to the Atlético de Madrid, with teams such as the Coraje de Carolina del Norte, Lyon and Manchester City, thus strengthening the bet of Herbalife Nutrition for female sport.
Tara López, general director of Herbalife Nutrition Spain, has declared that “the commitment to the world of sport is and will continue to be the main objective in Herbalife Nutrition” and adds that “in its day to day and with actions like this the company wants to abduct habits such as healthy eating and values as the spirit of overcoming with which we are fully identified as corporation.”
