The multinational specializing in nutrition and healthy lifestyle, Herbalife Nutrition, held its first BanGol workshop at the San Lorenzo del Escorial Children's Village School. The activity was attended by the general director of Herbalife Nutrition Spain, Tara López; the former coach of the Spanish football team, Vicente Del Bosque; and the former basketball player, Fernando Romay.
The BanGol is a sport of simple rules that combines football and basketball. It is played with both feet and hands in two 15 minutes. The ball can be played only once with the whole body, less the head and cuffs, and cannot be held for more than 5 seconds. If you mark a goal on the goal counts as 1 point; if you manage to enter the basket counts as 2 points.
During the day, students from the school of Child Villages in San Lorenzo del Escorial could share with their favorite sports stars, learn the rules of this fun sport, the BanGol” and at the same time report on healthy nutritional habits.
Del Bosque and Romay arrived in the Village with the intention of getting closer to the interesting projects that this NGO is implementing for children and culminated in the activity sharing with children a healthy snack. Accesorios para jeep
“I’ve spent a day with these guys and I’ve noticed how they’re well-kept. They are charming boys, with good education and who have all the future ahead,” Del Bosque said.
“We have been with the kids, inciting them, having fun and especially knowing the work that Children’s Villages is doing with them,” said Romay.
The BanGol workshop is part of the corporate social responsibility actions implemented by Herbalife Nutrition for more than 30 years in Spain, in order to promote the work of non-profit organizations that help improve the nutrition of children, young people and families in need.
