The fair of organic products and responsible consumption held between 11 and 14 November in IFEMA, Biocultura Madrid, is the stage for the official presentation for the retail market of the only low natural salt in sodium in the world. This native salt of Chile is a 100% natural product, without artificial elements, and unique in the world for its organoleptic properties, which translate into having the same flavor and texture qualities in front of artificial productions, while it is hyposodic. This fact makes many food industry companies dedicated to the production of snacks, cheeses, bakery products or snacks, among others, have already been interested in the product with the aim of making foods with less sodium and therefore healthier.
The two business lines of Atacama Foods are focused, on the one hand, on the food industry, and on the other, on the final consumer who seeks to reduce the level of sodium in their diet. For the latter, the product can be purchased through Amazon.
Sal de Atacama has chosen a forum for ecological, bio and natural products such as the one offered by BioCultura “because it is framed by our philosophy of generating a new food condiment, of multiple applications and utilities and with a high level to meet the demands of the current market”, explains Pereira.
WHO itself alerts the high levels of blood pressure among the population, and establishes more than 7.5 million people who died a year as a result of hypertension problems. The current alternative, in both natural and artificial salts, does not meet low sodium levels and the flavor standards required by the consumer, therefore Sal de Atacama is the ideal option to combine health and taste in the same product.
