Quirónsalud has been distinguished with one of the five special awards of the IX edition of the A Tu Salud Awards, which delivers The Reason. A stimulus to continue to work and end the coronavirus, and a tribute to all those affected and their families. With these words, Juan Antonio Alvaro de la Parra has thanked the Special Prize to Your Health to Quirónsalud for his commitment as a health network during the pandemic. Over 2,000 contracts and 3.5 million in EPI
Alvaro de la Parra recalled that, in order to promote this network work, the group has carried out “almost 2,000 new staff recruitments” and moved to “about 250 volunteers from our centers throughout Spain to support in the most critical moments in Madrid and Barcelona”.
In addition to its pioneering condition in the realization of “mass tests to the entire template” and the impulse of telemedicine with the conduct of digital consultations, from the beginning of the pandemic, Quirónsalud multiplied “diagnostic teams” and acquired “more than 3.5 million protective equipment” and “two ambulances”. In addition, the health network has launched a program of daily menus in social dining rooms, “a work to which we will continue in the coming months that are still waiting for pandemic.”
