Coinciding with the ‘World Heart Day’, La Tagliatella, the leading chain in Spain of Italian cuisine of high quality, presents in its more than 200 restaurants its proposal Cuore Felice, an initiative carried out in collaboration with the Cima Universidad de Navarra to support its research on cardiovascular diseases.
Cuore Felice It is a selection of plates designed to share and that have been prepared limiting products containing saturated fatty acids, simple sugars and salt and enhancing, instead, the use of raw materials with a nutritional profile beneficial to cardiovascular health.
“Bringing a healthy diet is very important to have good health. Our body needs nutrients to make the organism work properly throughout the day and to reduce the risk of disease. In addition, there are different alterations involved in the development of diseases such as heart failure. Our group investigates the causes present in these pathologies to treat patients in a personalized way,” says Dr. Arantxa González Miqueo, director of the Cima Cardiovascular Disease Program.
The objective of La Tagliatella is to offer an option to all those who want to enjoy the best Italian gastronomy without renouncing the type of food they are accustomed to in their day to day, with less calories and fats, but with all the flavor. And it also shows its commitment to the research of cardiovascular diseases that the Cima develops for this purpose 2% of the collection Cuore Felice across the chain.
The dishes that make up Cuore Felice are as follows:
- Cod Tartar: Cod, tomato, zucchini and avocado, accompanied by a variety of lettuce, cherry tomatoes and citrus and avocado vinegar. Disfraces para niños y adultos

This initiative together with the Cima Universidad de Navarra joins the collaboration already maintained by La Tagliatella with the Ministry of Consumers and its HAVISA Plan for healthy living habits.
