EUSKALOVO KM0 is the newly constituted chicken egg producers cooperative, which has been presented in Bilbao to the entire Basque society, as the Agrarian Producers of Eggs of Euskadi, recognized by the Basque Government.
The presentation has had the presence of Bittor Oroz Izagirre, vice adviser of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Policy, who has given this recognition to the associate farmers. The group brings together producers and producers from the Basque Country, and from neighbouring provinces, with the objective of joining forces and compete in an increasingly concentrated sector. EUSKALOVO KM0 starts its walk with 8 production farmswith the forecast to arrive integration 20 in the next four years. Of these, 6 are breeding in cages (4 of them on the ground), 1 farmer and 1 organic. In the projection of 2020-2021, with the forecast to integrate 20 farms, 6 will be in cage (all in soil), 6 of farm breeding and 8 of organic breeding, integrating 80%* of the total production of CAE eggs and exceeding 19 million euros of billing. Investments of 9 million euros
La production capacity total of EUSKALOVO KM0 is of 23.7 million dozen eggs, of what the group sells 60%, being the objective to reach 70% of the production capacity in the period 2020-2022.
He is a leader in the CAE market, with a sale of 15.8 million dozens and one turnover of 18 million euros. In 2020 it is expected to reach 18.2 million euros, in 2021 to 18.4 million euros and in 2022 to reach 19 million euros in sales.
The group plans to carry out investments of 9 million euroswith the horizon to end in 2024 having implanted a new productive model.
