The next 10 and 11 March will be the 1st edition of the Women Hormonal Summit, with the aim of giving more visibility and voice to women in their hormonal health. The event also wants to highlight those female hormone diseases and disorders that, socially, are silenced, with the participation of researchers and recognized specialists in hormonal health

The first edition of the first edition of the Women Hormonal Summit. The event will address, with a gender perspective, innovation, research, disclosure, advances in diagnosis, protocols and treatments related to female hormonal health, giving space for the discussion and dialogue of the hand of research leaders and recognized specialists in this area. The project is co-organized by the Women 360° Congress, a health, well-being and business platform for women, and Carla Romagosa, a nutrition specialist and an expert on menopause.

Miriam Al Adib Gynaecology, the Riera Bartra Institute and the Dona de Sabadell Institute.

The Women Hormonal Summit is born for visibilize those female hormone diseases and disorders that, socially, are silenced, while at the same time enhancing the relationship between health professionals and users. To this end, it will have a panel of speakers in the field of hormonal health selected by a Scientific Committee.

The welcome will be delivered by Rosa Cuscó, Director and Founder of Women 360° Congress, and Carla Romagosa. Next, Anna Sabadell, IL3-UB Manager, Institute of Continuing Education of the University of Barcelona, will present and moderate the inaugural debate, which will be attended by Dr. Cristina Martínez, Corporate Manager ASSIR Catalunya, Direcció d’Atenció Primària i Comunitària ICS; Dr. Elvira Bisbe, First Vice President of COMB; Dr. Ma Jesús Cancelo, Vice President of the SEGO, Dr. Francisco Carmona, Head of the Gynaecology section of the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona and Scientific Director of Women’s CD and Patricia Ripoll, as a user and expert patient in migraine. All of them will discuss what vision they have on the advancement, bias and autonomy in women ' s health management.

The first hormonal stages of women: child, adolescence, fertile age
The first day of the Women Hormonal Summit will be dedicated to women's hormonal health from childhood to pregnancy, and will start with a presentation by Laura Sagnier, a specialist and researcher at Market Intelligence, about how they are, what they think and how women feel today. These findings are based on their statistical-mathematic study that represents more than 20 million women in Spain.

The first of the discussion tables will focus on the relationship between health professionals and the user. In it, Dr. Elvira Bisbe, Dr. Francisco Carmona and Dr. Silvia Agramunt, Coordinator of Minimally Invasive Surgery at the Institut de la Dona Sabadell, together with their testimonies, will present at what point is the research and treatment of ferropenic anemia, endometriosis and amenorrea and dysmenorrea, respectively. On the second round of the day, “Ciclos y Embarazos”, Dr. Ana Fernandez, a neurologist specializing in sleep disorders at AdSalutem Dream Institute, will talk to attendees about how important the dream is for women's health (sponsored by AdSalutem); Dr. Anna Galindo, Medical Director at Gravida, Pregnancy Pregnancy Pregnancy Pregnancy and Planning (sponsored by Gravida) and Dr. Montserrat Espuña, Head of Uroginecology at Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, of the prolapse in the postpartum.

The programme also includes various workshops on prevention, quality of life and female health. On the first day, we will talk about “Technological innovations as pelvic soil solutions”, by Pilar Sánchez Jaime, CEO of Capenergy, who also sponsors the workshop. Subsequently, hyperestrogenism and polycystic ovaries (sponsored by Nutergia laboratories) will be addressed by Dr. Alexandra Henriquez, gynaecologist and obstetrician at the Hospital Quirón de Pozuelo de Alarcón. Sari Arponen, PhD in Biomedical Sciences at the Complutense University of Madrid, will deliver the third on “Omegas, Fertility and Pregnancy” (sponsored by Dhaneo).

Transition to menopause. Menopause and Golden Age
The second day of the summit will also be organized around two discussion tables. The first will be entitled “Digitalization and Menopause”. So, Dr. Susan Judas, resident physician of Family and Community Medicine; Dr. Frederic Llordachs, Doctoral co-founder; Dr. Francesc Fàbregues, Doctor of the Assisted Reproduction Unit of the Clinic of Barcelona; Dr. Ma Jesús Cancelo and Dr. Rafael Sánchez-Borrego, talk about “Slow Medicine”, telemedicine, “Recovery of ovarian function in women with premature menopause”, contraception in the transition to menopause and the benefits of natural hormones during menopause, respectively.

Dr.'s presentation. Santiago Palacios, gynecologist and obstetrician, Director of the Palacios Institute, on the genitourinary syndrome of menopause will be responsible for opening the second table of the day, presented and moderated by Dr. Rafael Sánchez-Borrego. Next, Dr. Miriam Al Adib Mendiri, gynaecologist and obstetrician, will explain the relationship between insulin resistance and estrogendependent diseases during menopause. Finally, Dr. Sonia Sánchez, gynaecologist and obstetrician specialist in menopause at the Hospital Universitari General de Catalunya and the Centre Mèdic GINAC, will present the ‘Project Scarlet’, focused on genitourinary syndrome in menopause of women who have sex with women.

During this second day a workshop will be held entitled “Dialogue between physician and user in the choice of a cymicifuga treatment for the transition and menopause”, by Carla Romagosa and Nicolás Mendoza; another on nutrition and supplements in menopause, by Dr. Helena Rutllant, a nutrition specialist at the Corachán Clinic, sponsored by Vitae Health Innovation. Pilar Casanovas, a pharmacist and head of training in Laboratoire PiLeje, will talk about the “inner-brainerary” in the workshop sponsored by Pileje. And the last workshop will be held by Maria Carmen Manresa Lopez, a midwife at the Hospital Clínico de Santiago, a doctor in health sciences from the University of A Coruña, who will analyze the “Intimate care of women: hormonal changes and needs in their hygiene”, sponsored by Leti Fem.
