Ginger tea is a very effective home remedy for curing nausea. The person suffering from nausea can take a cup of tea by adding a fresh piece of ginger in it. This mixture can be taken before going to bed to avoid the nauseating feelings.

Wheat germ is beneficial in the treatment of nausea. A few teaspoons of wheat germ can be mixed in a cup of milk and this can be taken every hour to treat the nauseating affect. Rice water or rice soup is a well known home remedy for nausea and vomiting. Rice water can be taken in small amounts for several times in a day for better results. Rice water can be prepared by boiling 1 cup of rice in a cup of water for about 20 minutes.

Cumin seeds are found to be very effective in the treatment of nausea. The affected person can consume about half a teaspoon of powder of cumin seeds once in a day to find relief from nausea.

Diet that you should follow

Large amount of food should be avoided as smaller amount is always good for your diet. The diet for affected person should contain fibrous fruits and vegetables. Fiber rich diet such as banana, rice, apple sauce and toast should be included in large amounts. A healthy diet containing fruits and vegetables is always good for us. The affected person should avoid taking oily food items, spicy food items and junk foods. You should keep your body hydrated by drinking lots of water.

Strongly flavored food items should be avoided as these can worsen the case. Chewing mint gums can be helpful in clearing your throat and hence preventing nauseating sensations.
