Peppermint is also has vitamin B, calcium and potassium in it. The oil of the peppermint promotes digestion and prevents gall stones. It helps to soothe stomach cramps during PMS and helps to stop excess bleeding. Peppermint has been used for centuries in helping to solve a variety of disorders internally as well as externally.

How to administer the use of peppermint

Peppermint can be used in the preparation of tea and can also be used on salads and sandwiches. Peppermint oil can be used in massage and in bath as well.

 

If you are suffering from a sore throat, you must prepare a cup of peppermint tea by brewing peppermint leaves in a cup of water and add cinnamon powder to it. Use the blend to gargle your throat. This helps to relieve a sore throat and get rid of the itchiness.

If you are suffering from stomach cramps then you must drink a cup of the blend before and after meals. Blend the cup for at least 8 to 10 minutes to make it strong and this helps to ease the pain and the cramps.

For any forms of skin diseases and rashes pour 10 drops of the peppermint oil to a warm bath. Soak in the water for a few minutes and avoid using soap to lather at the bath time.

If you are suffering from a strong headache or you have an issue with sinusitis that leaves you with a heavy head every morning, use peppermint oil to massage your temples. This helps to lift a blocked nose, gets rid of a headache and is even known to effectively lift a hangover.
