Because you can go from tapas in a healthy way. The city of Alcorcón launches to promote its gastronomy through a strategy whose first step is the celebration of this First Gastronomy Contest
Start the first Gastronomy Contest to be held in Alcorcón under the name Alcorcón Gastronomic Culture. This is an initiative promoted by the Municipal Institute for Employment and Economic Promotion (IMEPE-Alcorcón)with the collaboration of hotels in the city.
The project is born from Hostelry Forum recently held in Alcorcón where a large group of companies from the HORECA sector (Hotels, Restaurants and Cafeterias) met with the President of IMEPE-Alcorcón, Raquel Rodríguez Tercero, and agreed to the realization of this Contest as the first step for the launch of a strategy to promote the gastronomy, under the aforementioned Quality Brand, Alcorcón Cultura Gastronoso.
The First Gastronomy Contest to be held from 1 to 20 June; and in its first edition will try to promote healthy cooking. To do this, you will select the 10 best dishes, the 10 best tapas, the 5 best desserts or pastry products, and the 5 best home food products. This will be selected the Top-30 of the gastronomy of Alcorcón, through a combination of the vote of the public and the opinion of a jury composed of professional experts of the sector, among which there will be cooks and gastronomic critics. The Gastronomic Contest is open to everyone, anyone can come to know the cultural and gastronomic diversity of the municipality of Alcorcón between 1 and 20 June.
