I always dreamt about a fancy life where I could go to the spa and get fancy treatments but reality had other plans for me and going to a spa is definitely not something I can afford to do. But that doesn’t mean that I can’t pamper myself at home with the same treatments I would get in the spa. Not only does my body get the same benefits as some of my more fortunate friends I also save a lot of cash; so I recommend spa treatments at home to almost everyone.
When you want to look your best you need to understand that merely focusing on your face and upper body is not going to help. You know the proverb- ‘Put your best foot forward’, well your feet count a lot. You need to care for your feet in the same manner as you care for your face or any other part of your body. Exfoliating the skin on your feet is the answer to getting gorgeous feet.
Exfoliation is a process where you get rid of dead skin cells that lie on the surface of the skin. When you do this regularly you polish your skin so that you reveal a soft and fresh looking radiant complexion. If you are interested in getting a spa treatment and home then you need not worry too much about it as it is very simple. The most important factor is time. All spa treatments are successful for they are carried out in leisure time. So attempt a treatment at home only when you have an hour to spare.
The first step to the treatment is to fill a tub with warm water and another with cold milk. If you are not able to use fresh milk you can use cold water and add a few spoons of milk powder to the water. Add ice cubes to the water. First soak your feet in the warm water. After approximately 20 minutes remove your feet from the warm water and pat them dry. Wait for 10 to 15 seconds after you wipe your feet and then immerse them in the tub with cold water. The hot water will begin the process of softening the skin while the cold milk will soften and moisturize the skin. After you have soaked your feet in the cold milk for 10 minutes rinse them with cold water and pat them dry.
Your feet are not ready to get rid of the dead skin cells. There are several ways to exfoliate your skin. If your skin is sensitive then you can use a rough towel and rub it on your feet; the friction of the towel on your skin will loosen the dead skin and eliminate it. You could also use a pumice stone when you feet are damp; be careful though for pumice stones can cause damage to your skin of you do not rub gently.
Once you are done with exfoliating your skin rinse your feet with cold water and pat them dry once again. Use a rich moisturizing cream on your feet and wear socks in order to lock in the moisture. The best time to carry out your home spa session is at night.

Wow! Great tip! Also try using a safety mat foot scrubber. It’s really not expensive and it greatly helps in exfoliation. Thanks for sharing your beauty routine.
