Kidney Damage

Kidney problems is another common symptom of gout disease. Gout and kidney disease unfortunately go hand in hand and begins with joint pains lasting for few hours or days. People suffering from kidney disease have higher amounts of uric acid in their blood and because it is not possible to remove sufficient amount of uric acid from body, there it is where gout occurs. Individuals who had a kidney transplant are more susceptible to gout due to intake of medications. These medications increase the uric acid and a person develops gout.
